Overview

Coastal populations are growing rapidly - in recent years local fishers have reported declines in their catches. The network seeks to protect biodiversity and livelihoods, and will increase environmental awareness among communities. Velondriake will serve as a model to other communities for conservation, economic development and governance and management initiatives.
